Working:

• Open Position: In the open position, the plug is rotated so that the port aligns with the pipeline. This allows fluid to pass through the valve with minimal resistance. The lubrication applied to the plug helps reduce friction and ensures the smooth movement of the plug, making it easier to operate.
• Closed Position: When the valve needs to be closed, the plug is rotated to a position perpendicular to the pipeline. This blocks the passage and prevents fluid flow. Again, the lubrication assists in the smooth movement of the plug, making the valve easier to close.

The primary purpose of an Electric Actuated Gate Valve in Iraq is to control fluid flow within a pipeline.
