Millions dead, millions displaced in Africa.

VAGABONDS in America including so-called African Americans or black Americans protesting against Israel for killing extremist terrorists while keeping quiet as millions are killed and made refugees in Africa.
The AU-African Union, United Nations and the world kept quiet because UAE, China and Turkey are fueling the killing. Extremist Jihadist terrorists of Hamas die in Gaza, the world and all mainstream media cash on smiling to bank. Truth aren't popular again but it matters. Stop the hypocrisy and talk then support the facts.
What's going on?
What’s happening?
1. Sudan: World's Worst Humanitarian Crisis
-
The war between Sudan's military and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) began in April 2023 and remains active. As of February 2025, over 12.3 million people have been displaced, including 8.8 million internally and over 3.5 million refugees who have fled abroad—making Sudan the largest displacement crisis globally.
-
Over 33 million people now require humanitarian assistance, equivalent to two-thirds of Sudan’s population. Famine conditions have spread across at least 17 regions, driven by blockades, violence, and restricted aid.
-
Cities like El-Fasher in North Darfur have become epicenters of child suffering, with siege conditions trapping civilians and causing 6,000 children to face severe acute malnutrition. Around 600,000 people have been displaced from El-Fasher and its surroundings.
2. Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
-
The conflict between government forces and the M23 rebel group, backed by Rwanda, has created a catastrophic situation in eastern DRC. Over 4 million people are now displaced, with 110,000 more forced to flee within a matter of days due to rebel advances.
3. Mozambique: Islamist Insurgency
-
In northern Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province, attacks by Islamic State-linked militants displaced over 46,000 people in late July 2025, nearly 60% of whom are children. This region has been engulfed in conflict, cyclones, and drought, leading to over 1 million displaced overall;
4. Wider Regional Displacement-
-
Across Africa, displacement figures are staggering:
-
Over 45 million people have been displaced by conflicts and climate disasters across the continent by the end of 2024.
-
Sub-Saharan Africa alone recorded 19.3 million new internal displacements in 2024—11.5 million due to conflict and 7.8 million due to disasters—bringing total displacement between 2015 and 2024 to 38.8 million.
-
By late 2024, Africa hosted 35 million internal displacements, driven by wars in DRC, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, and a sixfold increase in climate-related displacements since 2009.
-
The Sahel region alone has seen 3.7 million internally displaced, with over 4.2 million displaced in all due to insecurity and environmental disasters.
-
West Africa faces nearly 9 million people displaced due to the combined pressures of conflict and climate change.
-
Why the global response has been muted
Despite the scale of these tragedies, attention and aid have consistently fallen short due to factors like donor fatigue, geopolitical distractions, and volatile media coverage:
-
Many crises in Africa remain “invisible” in the global eye, exacerbated by dwindling humanitarian funding, limited media focus, and complex diplomatic challenges.
-
In Sudan, the collapse of governance and active combat have severely hampered aid delivery, while international responses have been stymied by geopolitical interests involving nations like the UAE, China, Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia .
The Truth Matters
What you're challenging is the widespread silence and inaction despite the overwhelming human cost—children starving, families fleeing, and millions displaced. These are not abstract statistics: they represent life-and-death realities.
-
The African Union has declared Sudan's crisis as the worst humanitarian emergency in the world
-
Yet, media coverage, donor engagement, and political action remain insufficient given the catastrophic scale.
Next steps: How to help
-
Stay informed and raise awareness: Share credible sources to ensure public pressure keeps pace with humanitarian needs.
-
Support reliable aid organizations working on the ground in Sudan, DRC, Mozambique, and the Sahel.
-
Hold governments and international institutions accountable to act, fund, and follow through on aid commitments.
The Wars & Killings in Africa: Who Is Involved?
1. Sudan (Ongoing Civil War, 2023–present)
-
Actors in the war:
-
Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) led by Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.
-
Rapid Support Forces (RSF) led by Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti.”
-
-
Foreign Sponsors / Fuelers:
-
United Arab Emirates (UAE): accused of supplying weapons and funding to the RSF through Libya and Chad ([Reuters, UN reports]).
-
Russia (Wagner & others): RSF was linked to Wagner in Darfur (gold trade, weapons).
-
Egypt: backs the Sudanese army (SAF).
-
Iran: reported to have supplied drones to SAF in late 2024.
-
Turkey & China: accused of arms sales that end up in Sudan.
-
-
Human toll: Over 15,000 killed, 12+ million displaced, famine conditions spreading.
2. Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
-
Actors in the war:
-
M23 rebels (linked to Rwanda).
-
Congolese army (FARDC) supported by militias and foreign allies.
-
-
Foreign Sponsors / Fuelers:
-
Rwanda: supports M23 militarily and logistically (UN & U.S. confirmed).
-
Uganda: sometimes accused of tacit cooperation with M23 while officially in anti-ADF operations.
-
China & UAE: linked through mineral trade (cobalt, gold, coltan), fueling armed groups via illicit supply chains.
-
-
Human toll: Over 6 million dead since 1990s, 4 million currently displaced.
3. Sahel Region (Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad)
-
Actors in the war:
-
Local militaries vs. ISIS-Sahel (ISGS) and al-Qaeda JNIM affiliates.
-
-
Foreign Sponsors / Fuelers:
-
Private arms flows from Libya (after Gaddafi’s fall).
-
Turkey & Gulf States (including UAE, Qatar) have been accused of indirect support or at least tolerance of extremist funding networks.
-
Russia (Wagner): deeply entrenched in Mali, supplying arms and mercenaries.
-
-
Human toll: Tens of thousands killed, over 3.7 million displaced in Sahel alone.
4. Mozambique (Cabo Delgado Insurgency)
-
Actors in the war:
-
ISIS-linked insurgents (Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamaah).
-
-
Foreign Sponsors / Fuelers:
-
ISIS networks (money and propaganda from Middle East).
-
Private arms trafficking via Tanzania and Somalia.
-
-
Human toll: 1+ million displaced, thousands killed.
5. Horn of Africa (Ethiopia, Somalia)
-
Ethiopia (Tigray war, Oromia conflict):
-
UAE: supplied drones to Ethiopian government during the Tigray war.
-
Turkey & Iran: sold drones to Addis Ababa.
-
-
Somalia:
-
Al-Shabaab receives funding through illicit trade (charcoal exports via Gulf States, smuggling through Kenya).
-
Turkey, Qatar, UAE each back rival Somali factions for influence.
-
Why the Silence?
-
Geopolitical hypocrisy:
Western powers focus media attention and outrage on Ukraine or Gaza, but African conflicts—even when they displace more people than Syria or Ukraine—get sidelined. -
Economic interests:
Many countries profit from African conflicts through weapons sales, resource deals (gold, cobalt, oil, coltan), and geopolitical access (ports, bases, trade routes). -
AU & UN weakness:
-
The African Union often condemns but lacks enforcement.
-
The UN is paralyzed by Security Council politics (UAE, Russia, China, U.S. each block resolutions depending on interests).
-
The Reality-
Millions of Africans are dying or being displaced not just from “internal conflicts” but from proxy wars fueled by outside states:
-
UAE → Sudan (RSF), Ethiopia (drones).
-
China → Arms sales, resource extraction deals (Congo, Sudan).
-
Turkey → Drone sales (Ethiopia, Somalia).
-
Russia/Wagner → Mali, Sudan (gold, mercenaries).
-
Rwanda & Uganda → fueling DRC war.
-
ISIS/al-Qaeda networks → Sahel & Mozambique insurgencies.
So yes — the truth is Africa is bleeding, but because global powers and regional actors benefit, the story doesn’t dominate headlines the way Gaza or Ukraine does.
