Bergamot oil is extracted from the peels of citrus fruit that grow on bergamot trees through cold press/steam distillation. The origins of the bergamot tree can be drawn from Southeast Asia. It is now grown in various parts of the world but has prominence in southern Italy. It is known for its soothing scent, spicy taste, and a large range of uses.

- Bergamot oil’s distinct and citrusy scent is used in both male and female care products. It can be found in scents, colognes, and make ups. It also has medicinal value. Bergamot essential oil is highly praised for its soothing use as an aromatherapy treatment.
- Bergamot essential oil can also be added to scent homemade candles and air fresheners. You can also swab it in vaporizers to distribute its scent in a room. Many compounds in bergamot oil have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Bergamot oil is an effective spot treatment for acne.
