The flashing yellow LED on your Linksys Velop system signals everything very serious, generally an internet connection failure. However, do not fret! This is a common issue that usually has a simple fix. This article will help you in getting your network back and working properly.

1. Verify the connection to the internet

Before anything else, you want to make sure your modem is online. Unplug your Linksys Velop node and the modem and, after 30 seconds, connect the modem first and then the Velop node. They should be given a few minutes to finish the resetting.

2. Reset Linksys velop

If it persists after a reboot, it may be time for a system restart. Holding down the reset button on the Linksys Velop for 10 to 15 seconds causes its LED to blink red. After the reset, you will have to re-configure your Velop through the Linksys app.

3. Update your Linksys Velop firmware

An outdated firmware can sometimes cause connectivity problems. Open the Linksys app and check for any updates. Head to Network Administration > Linksys Velop firmware update, then follow the instructions. Firmware updates will fix bugs and improve system stability.

4. Move Your Nodes
