There might be an old version of the Wavlink firmware which you are up with. The sign of the old version of the device is connected but with slow internet. So to update the device enter the control panel of the device and make sure the device is in full connection with the Ethernet or WiFi to the device. Locate the browser and type 192.168.10.1 in the search field of the PC. As this is the IP of Wavlink, it is the way to go to the Wavlink AC1200 repeater setup portal. Now, you have access to the account of the wavlink, finally, check for the firmware update option, further install it on your PC, and update the software.
