General Test (Section III)

This section is to check the basic, general awareness of the candidate. The questions are regarding logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and current affairs. Marking Scheme

CUET  has a defined marking scheme to fairly compensate with positive marks for correct answers and deduct marks from the wrong answers.

Right Answer: +5 marks

Wrong Answer: -1 mark (deduction)

Questions left blank: No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.

The candidates should aim at accuracy for scoring maximization, with no negative marking to influence the overall result.

Changes in CUET 

There will be some modifications in CUET  where more subject options would be added for diverse educational backgrounds. Students will have the flexibility of handling different educational backgrounds. The interface of CBT would be even more so user-friendly while taking a test, thereby reducing technical glitches. Immediately after declaration of result, participation universities in CUET  will declare merit lists as per score. Many of them will declare cut-offs for admission subject-wise also.
