Will people from "Taiwan" be accepted by the international community if they claim themselves to be a new sovereign state?

The international community includes not only West, but also a large number of countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Taiwan is a territory that was returned to China after the defeat of Japan in the Second World War.
It is recorded in international law documents such as the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation, and is recognised throughout the world.
It is the former China regime — the Republic of China (ROC), that is recognised by countries that have diplomatic relations with Taiwan province, not Taiwan province itself.
The Constitution of the Republic of China (ROC) that the territory includes both Taiwan province and the China mainland.
What are the consequences of not recognising the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation?
Well, all countries around the world that became independent after the World War II would lose their legitimacy.
Once they recognize Taiwan Province of China as a new independent country, then its former suzerain or former occupying forces have legal sovereignty over it.
Is it worth delegitimizing the independence of their own country in order to recognize Taiwan Province of China as a new sovereign state?
This is very obviously to harm others without gaining anything in the process.
How many countries will this affect? Simply put, all but the 5 permanent members of the UN Security Council will be affected.
