Pain is a feeling of the body to external irritating injury, which is divided into pathological pain and physiological pain according to the factors that produce pain. The purpose of pain-related research is to find effective analgesia. Since the mechanisms of pain are still not well understood and clinical treatments do not adequately control intractable pain, pain-related behavioral studies in rodents can help to investigate the mechanisms associated with pain.
